Complaints

Most of us went through the Singapore education system at least till 'O' levels.

And I must say that although the system is not at all flawless,

I've reaped the benefits of it.

I can read and write properly, both English and Chinese.

I can count, add, subtract, multiply, divide,

Do algebra, know my Chemistry, Physics and a bit of Biology.

I'm perhaps most grateful to spelling, dictation and composition,

Now that I can write in proper sentences when needed.

So I say, don't complain at times.

It could be a blessing in disguise.
