Out to Town
Today was a day out with Silas to catch L: Change the World,
Then to the career fair,
Where we got stuck there for longer than what we expected,
Due to the financial planners trying to lure us into their jobs.
Then it was dinner at Ichiban Boshi for the third time in two months,
Before shopping at Carrefour for some marshmellows for my fondue.
Tiring day, think the movie drained me mentally.
But it was a day out, a day away from the computer.

The Swim Clock
It is yet another day of swimming.
Ah, the swim bud was late this time, by one hour. -_-
We were supposed to meet at 7am,
He woke up at 7am, how punctual.
After a hearty breakfast of yong tau foo at 8.30am,
The swim bud whom tasted it for the first time,
Suddenly fell in love with it, especially the fried stuff.
And so, we only started swimming say about 9.30am.
Who knew a hearty breakfast could make us feel so lazy that we did not want to move our limbs.
In the end we finished swimming at 11.15am,
And clocked 9 laps, which is 900m.
Not too bad, but could have completed 10.
Thus far, the swim clock for swim bud and me is 19 laps of 1.9km.
Let's hit the target of 50 laps by end-March or early April.

Public Relations Down!
PR down, Arts & Our World up next.
Oh well, I screwed up one question during the exam.
Bad, bad, bad.
If you are thinking that one question is no big deal,
Well, then it's time you knew that I always work towards an A grade.
So one question IS a big deal.
But everyone of us are different,
And we have different targets.
So, no hard feelings ya?

It was tuition again,
Before heading down to one of my JC classmate's birthday party.
Well, it was okay,
Just that the function room was too small,
And there were too many people.
So after about 36 hours of no-sleep or no-good-sleep,
I zonked out into lala land the moment my head reached the pillow.
Nothing beats a good night's sleep.

Disappointment
Sometimes people do things that cause disappointment.
And there's nothing much to talk about since I'm not exactly related to you,
Other than by being just a friend.
I can't impose my expectations on you, because you are you,
And you have the right to make your own decisions,
To do the things that you want to do,
Or do the things that you feel is right.
Perhaps you regretted what you have done,
Perhaps you feel guilty towards me.
But there's no need to.
When I thought that I was ready,
You dropped this on me.
Well, maybe our priorities are TOO different.
I'm truly thoroughly disappointed.
Don't bother asking me the same questions again since you already have done it.

Ka Ching!
Some money just rolled in,
After a short abandonment from babysitting,
I'm now back to babysitting again!
This time a different family,
Of girl (10) and boy (8).
Haha, easy peasy.
Play with them for 1 hour,
Get them ready for bed,
And I'm off to watch teevee till the parents come back.
How generous of them to give tips too!
I want to babysit for this family again!!!

Yet another busy month ahead
Previously I was worried whether I would have enough money to tide over,
How that things are going on just fine,
I feel so much better.
Yet so much busier and tired.

After watching 3 episodes of a TVB drama serial,
Sets me thinking...
I'm at a loss for words.
Haha.

Do you sometimes wonder if a male friend would end up as your other half?
Or do you sometimes wonder if you let go of one person who could be 'the one',
You would not find anyone that understands you that much anymore?
What if that ONE PERSON was the one,
Yet you decided to give up that chance?
But what if the person was not the one,
Yet you have decided to just go with it?
Dilemma dilemma.
It's so contradictory (or rather ironic),

Single hood is great, but could losing it be better?

Happily enjoying
Gambling, eating, talking, visiting, collecting ang pows.
I've won 15 bucks from gambling so far,
Ate tons of goodies,
Visited quite a fair bit,
And collected about tens of ang pows.
This is the kind of new year I like.
And hearing people letting off fire crackers and fireworks.
It's better than staying in Singapore and staying home all day to watch TV.

When SOMEONE ELSE mops once in a year for you,

Who's the one who goes out with you to the market,
To help you carry stuff home?
When SOMEONE ELSE does it ONCE IN A BLUE MOON,
You say THANK YOU TO THE WHOLE WORLD.
To me? You even nag saying that I don't help you out.
Who's the one who accompanies you to breakfast almost everytime?
When SOMEONE ELSE does it just ONCE IN A FEW MONTHS,
You are so grateful and say it to the WHOLE WORLD.
And 9 in 10 times can't wake up, you just say, "Let him sleep, he's tired."
WHEN HE CANCELS A LAST MINUTE DINNER, you just say, "Never mind."
To me?
When I can't get up in the morning just a FEW TIMES,
You show me your attitude, get angry and show your temper.
Who's the one who climbs up and down, helping you to clean stuff in the house?
When SOMEONE ELSE just cleans ONE TINY PART of a cupboard,
YOU THANK HIM LIKE HE'S GOD.
To me? You scold me, saying that I don't help you out.

The things about Chinese New Year
I'm done with cleaning out my cupboard,
Throwing away old clothes and downgrading not-so-new clothes.
I hate cleaning. But I like the sense of satisfaction after that.
There's my bed & the computer table left to be dusted.
And obviously gotta help out with the living room.

The person staying upstairs is renovating his flat,
Probably for the new year.
And if you stay in a HDB flat,
When there's drilling,
You feel as if it is drilling into your head.
ARGH, and the noise that's coming.
Tell me that's NOT a substitute for fire crackers.

I just realized that I have A LOT of clothes for this coming CNY.
Red, pink, white, purple tees and more tees.
Oh, that means more clothes to wear!
Tees make good 'go-to-school-uniform'.
I miss wearing a uniform...

I need to work FASTER for my PR assignment...
