Realizations...

I realized you don't need to be from any of the local universities to be on par when getting a job - that is if you are heading to the private sector. (If you want to go gahmen, then better go local U, ok?) They don't really care where you graduate from, they don't even look at your certs, or rather, don't even want to look at it. As long as you can do the job, they rope you in, and they pay you well. Do they even bother about how many A's you get? No.

So, I guess education only gives you the grounding/foundation of literacy and numeracy. Life skills, speaking skills, language skills, the EQ and whatever not taught in school, you just have to go through the school of hard knocks.

I've been through them, and they have polished me well. So to any of you out there who's upset about getting rejected by the local U's, don't bother. Sometimes, it could be for better experiences the others will never ever get. But, never never turn complacent. Hard work is still a necessity to get you to your ultimate goal in life.
